我校已形成拓寬國際商務(wù)視野、強化外語應(yīng)用能力訓練、注重實踐操作能力的應(yīng)用人才培養(yǎng)模式，并有國際商務(wù)多學科、多專業(yè)相互依托和相互滲透的復(fù)合優(yōu)勢。 SIFT has formed the applied talent cultivation model which aims to broaden international business vision, strengthen language skills training, emphases capability of practical operation, and also possesses the synthetic advantages of international business multiple subjects and majors which interact support each other.

國際商務(wù)和跨文化管理是我校傳統(tǒng)的辦學特色領(lǐng)域，我校學生以外語好、職業(yè)素養(yǎng)高、商務(wù)管理實踐能力強、跨文化適應(yīng)力好、擅長創(chuàng)新地整合利用各種資源和機會得到社會廣泛認可。 International business and cross-culture management are our traditional featured educational fields. Our students are widely acclaimed due to their good language skills, high career qualifications, strong practical ability in business management, capability in cross-culture adaptation as well as abilities to integrate and use all kinds of resources and opportunities innovatively.

采用高標準精選師資，三分之一來自本校優(yōu)秀師資，三分之一來自企業(yè)高管，三分之一來自于國內(nèi)外知名高校MBA師資，包括一定數(shù)量的國際師資和雙語師資。 Through high standard of teacher-selection approach, MBA of SIFT has established an excellent teaching team, with 1/3 selected from Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, 1/3 from corporate executives, and 1/3 from teaching faculty of universities at home and abroad, including certain amount of international teachers and bilingual teachers.

采用拓展訓練、團隊活動、管理模擬與實驗、系列講座、企業(yè)參訪與實踐、項目教學、國際游學、創(chuàng)業(yè)實踐、商業(yè)競賽等多種教學手段培養(yǎng)學生的綜合能力。 School adopts multiple means of teaching, such as outward bound, team activities, management simulation and experiment, series of lectures, enterprise visit and practice, project teaching, international study tour, practice in starting business, business competition and so on, so as to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability.
5. 互動式的小班化授課方式
Interactive small class teaching
小班授課，廣泛采用案例教學、模擬實驗、體驗式教學、團隊式訓練、項目教學等教學方式。特別是與加拿大IVEY商學院長期以來的案例教學合作，已使我校的管理課程案例教學形成了特色和優(yōu)勢。 The means of small class teaching is applied in our MBA program, with various teaching methods used, such as case teaching, simulation experiment, experiential teaching, team training, project teaching and so on. Especially, the long--established cooperation with Canada IVEY commercial college on case study has helped form the specialty and advantages of our case teaching in management courses.
6. 廣泛的國際交流和免學費的國際交換生學習機會
Extensive international communication and opportunities of international exchanging students to learn for free
我校與國外許多大學商學院建立了各種形式的學術(shù)交流、教學合作、學生互換、教師互訪等項目，目前共接收了來自49個國家的1000多位各類外國留學生，送出了600多位學生分別到8個國家22所大學交流學習。 Our university has established with many international large commercial colleges a cooperation, in many ways, for instance, academic communication, teaching cooperation, students exchanging, teacher exchanging, mutual visit of teachers. So far, SIFT has received more than 1000 foreign students from 49 countries, and sent 600 students to 22 overseas universities of 8 countries to communicate and study.
